Apple Releases First OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 Beta to Developers for Testing
Apple on Thursday seeded the very first OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 beta to developers for testing. The release came just about a week after the official public release of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3. In case you don’t know, the latest stable OS X version can boast of new Photos app and several other improvements.
As to the most-recent OS X 10.10.4 beta, it has a build number 14E7f. According to Apple’s release notes, this updates “improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac." Looks like the very first OS X beta has only a bunch of minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
Earlier OS X Yosemite updates, including OS X 10.10.1 and OS X 10.10.2 brought only minor changes to the operating system in the form of bug fixes and performance enhancements. OS X 10.10.4 may serve the same purpose.
Despite such predictions, I believe that the guys from Cupertino will add some new features to the next builds of OS X Yosemite 10.10.4. That is why I suggest to wait for the release of these builds.
If you have a developer account, you may download the latest OS X beta from Apple’s dev portal right now. As usual, I don’t recommend to install it on your main computer.
