Apple Releases Third OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 Beta to Developers
As you probably know, Apple on Monday released the third iOS 8.4 beta with a brand new Music app and a number of important improvements and bug fixes to developers and the members of public testing program. Apart from the iOS beta, the guys from Cupertino have also seeded the third OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 beta with a bunch of stability enhancements and bug fixes to developers for testing. The release took place two weeks after the release OS X 10.10.4 Beta 2. The very first version of Yosemite 10.10.4 was released in April.
The latest update has a build number 14E17e. As I have already mentioned, this beta contains only several performance and security improvements and bug fixes. There are no new features or noticeable design changes.
OS X 10.10.3 introduced several consumer-facing changes including the new Photos for OS X app, a redesigned emoji picker, new diversified emoji, and more, but OS X 10.10.4 appears to be an under-the-hood update that brings performance enhancements and bug fixes.
If you have a developer account, you can download OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Beta 3 either from Apple’s developer portal or using the Software Update mechanism of the Mac App Store. Keep in mind this version if not stable, so it is not recommended to install it on your main device.
