Due to these realities and time contraints we will have to find a developer who can assist us on all three of these areas WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. As I understand, the newest iPhone currently supports all of these functuions, correct.

My understanding is that it is quite hard. There is JamVM for IPhone, but there is no good brigde to UI, communication related functions and etc. But some day it will be. A year ago we didn't expect any kind of Java on our IPhones. Now we can compile and run simple Java projects. So hopefully soon we'll be able to create complex ones with support of GPS/Wi-fi and port existing ones.

I'm new to this site so excuse what may be an easy answer. Is there a an easy path for porting to Java-iPhone from RIM BlackBerry (Curve) applications which call WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth functions and vise versa.
