More Workers Assemble iPhone 5s - Foxconn



Foxconn has been reportedly adding new workers to iPhone 5s assembly lines in order to catch up with the demand on this device. Earlier this month, the company from Cupertino decided to cut down the production of plastic iPhone 5c. As we can see now, this was the right decision as the number of iPhone 5s units available for purchase has grown dramatically since that time.

Apple Files Patent for "Touch-Sensitive Depressible Button"



U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published another Apple’s patent application on Tuesday. This time it’s a some kind of touch sensitive button that is capable of detecting multiple levels of pressure. The U.S. Patent No. 8,581,870 is entitled "Touch-sensitive button with two levels".

Apple's Awarded with Patent for User Tracking System



U.S. Patent and Trademark Office awarded Apple with a patent for a "System and method of determining location of wireless communication devices/persons for controlling/adjusting operation of devices based on the location". That means guys from Cupertino may soon start working on a kind of home automation technology that will help to control various devices using a person’s location.

iOS Engineering Vice President, Henri Lamiraux, Retired from Apple



Apple’s top iOS Engineering Vice President - Henri Lamiraux - retired from Apple a couple of weeks ago. This happened just after the iOS 7.0.3 release. Apple will Fix MacBook Pro Keyboard and Trackpad Lockup Issues



Apple is currently working on a fix for the late-2013 MacBook Pro bug that causes laptop’s keyboard and trackpad to freeze from time to time. It was previously reported that the problem may be a result of the conflict between MacBook’s hardware the operating system.
