Apple Finally Stops Signing iOS 8.1.3 - Hackers
Following the release of the fourth beta of iOS 8.3 to developers and public testers, the guys from Cupertino stopped signing iOS 8.1.3. I must admit, this is a piece of bad news for all those people who use jailbroken iPhones and iPads as it is now impossible to downgrade to this version of Apple’s mobile operating system after unsuccessful jailbreak. The risk of turning your fully functional device into a brick has once again risen.
Top 10 Stories of the Week
It's Sunday today, which means it's time for me to tell you about the most interesting posts of the past seven days.
As the iPhone 6 and the iWatch releases draw near, more and more rumors surface on the Internet that deal with these gadgets.
Hackers Managed to Downgrade iPhone 4S From iOS 7.1 to iOS 5.1.1 Without SHSH Blobs?
Hackers from doulCi Team managed to downgrade the Phone 4S running iOS 7.1 to iOS 5.5.1 without SHSH blobs. It should be noted, however, that there’s no confirmation of this fact neither from hackers, nor from other trustworthy sources yet.
What we have now is a short video showing the iPhone after downgrade. I must admit, it looks fully functional. The video is available below.

Evasi0n jailbreak is fixed in upcoming iOS 6.1.3
It looks like the vulnerabilities used for the evasi0n untethered jailbreak will be fixed in an upcoming iOS 6.1.3 update. PlanetBeing, one of the founding members of the evad3rs team that reports that Apple has patched at least one of the five exploits that evasi0n uses to accomplish the jailbreak.
"If one of the vulnerabilities doesn’t work, evasi0n doesn’t work," he says. "We could replace that part with a different vulnerability, but [Apple] will probably fix most if not all of the bugs we’ve used when 6.1.3 comes out."
Our advice? Just enjoy the jailbreak, back up your SHSH blobs in case a downgrade solution becomes available. And obviously if you like your jailbreak, stay away from iOS 6.1.3 once it is released.

Jailbreakers Should Update to iOS 6.1 Using iTunes, Not Using Software Update
Pimskeks of the Evad3rs Dev-Team reveals that those looking to apply the new iOS 6.1 jailbreak should update to the firmware using iTunes.
If you people plan to upgrade to iOS 6.1 please don't do an OTA upgrade. Please make a full restore using iTunes.

TinyUmbrella Updated With Support for iOS 6.0, 6.0.1, iPad Mini, iPad 4
Semaphore has announced an update to TinyUmbrella utility that brings support for new firmwares iOS 6 and iOS 6.0.1, as well support as new devices - iPad mini and the iPad 4. With TU users can save their SHSH keys for firmwares. Later these SHSH keys could be used for iOS downgrades.
I've updated TU to support iOS 6 and 6.0.1. The new iPad mini and iPad 4 are also supported as well as the new iphone 4 stealth revision.
Sorry for the delay folks. I'm still working on some pretty dang well needed changes to TU. The wait will be worth it...
You can download the new version of TinyUmbrella from the link below. Instructions can be found here:
RedSn0w updated to version 0.9.15b3
The iPhone Dev-Team has announced an updated version of RedSn0w and an upcoming update to UltraSn0w for iOS 6 compatibility.
Version 0.9.15b3 fixes the redsn0w “error 2601” that Windows users were seeing using the Restore button. It also fixes a related Windows iTunes error 14 for stitched files. Note that if you have a baseband, you should probably avoid stitching and simply use redsn0w’s native Restore (not iTunes).
Those lucky recipients of new iPad minis and iPad4s on Friday can use this redsn0w to save your 6.0 blobs off to Cydia. First connect your new device and turn it on, then use redsn0w’s Extras->SHSH Blobs->New and point it at the 6.0 IPSW.
Expect an ultrasn0w compatibility update for iOS 6.0 by Friday (mostly useful for 3GS old-bootrom users who are currently enjoying the untethered 6.0 jailbreak!). Same baseband support as with 5.x.
Thanks to @iamgolfy for helping test the 2601 Windows fix!
You can download the latest version of RedSn0w from here.
