Suppliers in Brazil and Vietnam Now Produce Cables for Apple
As you probably know, Apple suppliers responsible for manufacture of all kinds of cables, chargers and things like that used to be located only in China. According to the updated support page created to help customers recognize Apple’s certified products among the extensive amount of counterfeit ones, the production of authorized accessories for iPhones, iPads and Macs has been recently moved to Vietnam and Brazil. This means that currently Apple has partners in at least three countries, namely, China, Vietnam and Brazil.
Apple gets another claim for e-books price fixing
On Friday, another claim was filed over Apple for conspiring with publishes to fix E-Book prices. This time Cupertino company is believed to owe American E-Book customers at least $280 million in damages. Steve Berman, who is the attorney representing the consumers, states that due to the conspiracy E-Books prices rose 18.1 percent, which lead to $280 million in damages.
State attorneys general and consumers who sued the world’s most valuable technology company over its e-book pricing are seeking $280 million in damages and want that amount tripled, a lawyer for them said in a filing yesterday with the federal judge in Manhattan who presided over the U.S. case against Apple.
Lawsuit Against Company from Cupertino - Dismissed
Lucy Koh, U.S. District Judge, has recently dismissed a lawsuit against the company from Cupertino. According to the latest Reuters report, the lawsuit claimed that Apple was collecting users’ location data even when the geo-location feature on their iPhones or iPads was turned off.

Welcome iPhone 5C?
According to a photo posted on WeiPhone forum, the next Apple phone will be called 'iPhone 5C'. The picture, found by Macotakara, shows a container full of packaging material to be used for Apple's new smartphone.
Nowever, the photo cannot be claimed 100% authentic, it may just be a picture of production knockoffs. Still, according to its size, the packaging will be a little bigger than the one for previous Apple devices.
It has already been predicted by iLounge that the coming Apple's low-cost smartphone will be called iPhone 5C. It is also believed, that the device will be made of plastic only, unlike its ancestors, iPhone 5, fifth-generation iPod touch and iPod classic. The new model will feature a 4” screen, a back similar to fifth-gen iPod touch, and a shape similar to iPod classic.

Apple plans to sell more iPhones in India
The Wall Street Journal reports on recent Apple’s operations to increase sales in India, one of the fastest growing markets in the world. The company recently launched iTunes and Apple TV there. There also were rumors that Apple was planning to open retail stores in India.

Steve Jobs' "Venus" is no longer impounded
Last Friday, it was noted that the Jobs family's new yacht had been confiscated by the authorities of the Netherlands as a result of the dispute over design payment in favor of the famous French designer Philippe Starck. Stark asserted that he should have received the payment in the amount of 9 million euros for designing yacht, however the Jobs family reported that agreed rate was equal to 6% of the yacht valued in the 105 million euros. Phil Schiller: Scratching Of iPhone 5 Is Normal As With Any Aluminum Product

According the from 9to5Mac, one of its readers emailed Apple’s chief of marketing Phil Schiller, regarding scratching of the new iPhone. Scratches on the iPhone’s body are most visible on the black models because they reveal the silver color of the aluminum underneath the anodized slate color.
