According to the latest report from The Wall Street Journal, the guys from Cupertino will officially announce their brand new Beats-based streaming music service as soon as next week. This piece of news goes in line with previous reports from reliable insiders that suggested the new streaming music service will be unveiled at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in June. Drake, Pharrell and David Guetta to Become iTunes Radio Guest DJs?
According to the latest report from the New York Post, Apple is currently in talks with such celebrities as Drake, Pharrell Williams and David Guetta concerning the possibility of becoming guest DJs for a completely revamped music service called iTunes Radio. The same report also states that the guys from Cupertino are still in negotiations with major labels about the upcoming Apple Music service, which is expected to be launched later this year. The reporters claim the guys from Cupertino will offer a three-month trial period and a regular fee of $10 per month for the new music service.

The service will use the technologies Apple obtained after acquiring Beats Music and will have a monthly fee of $7.99.

Apple Offering Half of Royalty Rate Paid By Pandora For Streaming Music Service
The New York Times, Apple is going to undercut its future competitors in respect of royalty rates for its upcoming streaming music service, offering a rate that is just half as large as the rate paid by Pandora despite speculations that Apple is planning to offer more flexibility than allowed by the Pandora’s license.
