Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 7.1.x Released



UPDATE: It works on iOS 7.1.2 as well!

Today a team of Chinese hackers have released an untethered jailbreak of iOS 7.1.1. The utility is called Pangu.

Currently a jailbreak utility is only available for Windows users.

The team credits famous hacker i0n1c, who  introduced the infoleak bug during his training. By the way i0n1c has said, "if pangu team releases a public jailbreak with vulnerabilities disclosed to them during my training I consider this in no way okay."

Send Last Location Feature Was Added to Find My iPhone System



A new feature has been added to Find My iPhone system in iOS 8. This feature is called "Send Last Location” and, as seen from the name, it automatically sends the last saved location to Apple each time the battery of the device drains to a critical level.

New iOS 8 Concept and Widget Blocks [Video]



A concept designer named Jay Machalani has recently created an iOS 8 concept, which allows you to expand icons into special widget blocks. These blocks look pretty similar to Android's Widgets and Microsoft's Live Tiles.

iOS Users Generate Nearly 54% of North American Smartphone Web Traffic



Apple's iPhone is a very popular smartphone. In fact, it is so much popular that nearly half of the smartphone users own one.

According to the latest report from research firm Chitika Insights, iOS users generate 53.1% of North American web traffic. Android users come in the second place with 44.5%.

iPhone 5c Outsold Every Blackberry, Windows Phone and Android Flagship in Q4

comScore MobiLens and Mobile Metrix has analized the data concerning the situation on the smartphone market in the USA for January 2014. It turns out that Apple is on the rise, constantly increasing it share, while Android is falling behind. Blackberry lost the third place to Windows Phone.
