According to Apple, this update improves the stability, compatibility and security of Mac computers. If you have a compatible Mac, it is recommended that you update to OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 as soon as possible. It should be noted that this is only an under-the-hood update, so you won’t find any noticeable design changes or new features.
