Another Microsoft ad comparing iPad with a Surface RT tablet was released yesterday on the company’s official YouTube channel.

This time we can see a Windows RT tablet and an iPad 4. Microsoft ad-makers claim that their device is surely better than the Apple gadget. Polar recently conducted a poll, which shows that the users prefer the new iOS 7 interface to the iOS 6. It should be immediately noted, however, that the poll did not take into consideration the icons of both operating systems. And as you’ve probably heard, the icons design is the most widely criticized thing about the iOS 7.

Have a look at the high quality photos, that show the similarities and differences between the alleged digitizer and lcd screen assembly of the iPhone 5S with that of the iPhone 5.

As you can see, the main differences are in the the ribbon cables and the screw placement. This means that some modifications were made to the logic board. Unfortunately, as you can see, there is nothing that could prove the appearance of the rumored fingerprint scanner in the new version.

Twelve South has launched a new HiRise stand for the iPhone and iPad mini. The design of the stand enable it to be compatible with the Apple Lightning Cable and most cases available on the market.

Using one of three different adjustable clips and your Apple Lightning Cable (not included), HiRise positions the Lightning connector at a raised height to connect and charge your iPhone 5 or iPad mini. This allows HiRise to work with most cases, including cases with recessed connections no other dock can fit, like the OtterBox Defender, Speck CandyShell and, of course, the BookBook for iPhone. The rear support also adjusts forward and back to accommodate the different thicknesses of various cases and shells.
