Sapphire Display for iPhone 6 Won't Be Ready in Time?





According to what people familiar with the matter say, Apple’s suppliers have encountered some manufacturing difficulties connected with the production of sapphire-covered screens for the upcoming iPhone 6. What this means is that the guys from Cupertino won’t release the handset with the screen made of new strong material in September. Looks like we shall see another delay.

Microsoft Releases New Anti-Apple Ad, Mocks Siri



Microsoft has recently released a new ad, where company’s virtual assistant Cortana is compared to Apple’s Siri. In the short video we may see how Cortana successfully performs a number of contextually-aware tasks using several popular services. Siri, surprisingly, failed to perform the same task.

Apple to Acquire Swell Radio Soon?



Looks like Beats Electronics wasn’t the only music-related company the guys from Cupertino planned to purchase this year. According to the latest report from Re/code, Apple is currently considering the possibility of buying the firm behind the music streaming application called Swell Radio. The price of acquisition is $30 million.

Bose Sues Beats Electronics Over Patent Infringements



Bose has reportedly sued Apple’s Beats over the noise-cancelling technology used in the headphones manufactured by the company recently acquired by the guys from Cupertino. According to what people familiar with the matter say, Beats Electronics has violated several patents, which currently belong to Bose. CNBC reporters were the first to tell about the complaint from the American audio equipment industry giant.
