This robot is made in Japan. The main part is a jailbroken iPhone 3G running some Ruby code. Other parts include an Arduino CPU, a TA7291P motor, and 4 AA batteries. The robot is controlled via WiFi from a nearby computer.

There are health levels and configurable weapon options. The game also features deformable vehicle damage system and realistic physics.

This is the second tower defence type game. The first one was called FieldRunners. This one is Besiegement. Nice graphics and exellent gameplay. Avaliable via AppStore for $3.99 (link).

You can sync recordings using iTalk Sync application that should be installed on Mac or PC.

iRa application is the most expensive iPhone application. It costs $899.99 (AppStore link). iRa provides the user with viewing and control of IP based surveillance equipment. The company recommends users contact a reseller/integrator to make sure the proper equipment is used to run the app.

Google announced the release of an iPhone native version of their Google Earth application. The application is free, avaliable from the AppStore (iTunes Link).

Not much for regular users. This is just one more step towards software unlock of the iPhone 3G.

High resolution version can be downloaded via torrent.

Apple has seeded iPhone 2.2 Firmware Beta 2 and has fully enabled Google Street View. Beta 1 of iPhone 2.2 had hidden APIs related to the Street View for Google Maps, but was not enabled.

The seed notes also indicated that Line-in audio accessories are now supported in the SDK.
