Apple updated iTunes to version 8.1.1. Official changelog is: "iTunes 8.1.1 adds support for renting HD movies and provides a number of bug fixes, including addressing issues with VoiceOver and syncing with iPhone or iPod touch.". Download it here.

To create an iTunes App Store account without a credit card please follow the steps below.

Note: In order to create an account without a credit card, you must make sure you are in the App Store, not the iTunes Store.

1. Pick your country from the pop-up menu at the bottom of the iTunes Store homepage.
2. If your country also has an iTunes Store, you'll need to navigate to the App Store by clicking on the "App Store" link from the menu on the left.  If not, proceed to step 3.

Lisa and Toyo demonstrate the Star Guitar iPhone app (AppStore link). You can play back synth guitar versions of popular songs by just tapping on chord buttons on your iPhone. What makes this video is the composition and the editing. It is amazing. Seriously, just watch it.

3-D Vector Ball is basically a 3D ping pong. There is a multiplayer mode, where you can play with your friends over wi-fi. Watch the video:

There are many iPhone applications, that alow you to play drums (f.e. real drums). However you should take a look at Kanon Drums, application from japanese developers. This app is fantastic. It works really good, you can play along with some famous riffs.

Wallpaper Labeler (AppStore link) and gCalWall Lite (AppStore link) let you add appointments and notes to the home screen. With Wallpaper Labeler, you can enter any text you want to your wallpaper, so you can leave yourself (or whoever finds your phone) notes. The other app, gCalWall, pulls down upcoming appointments from your default Google Calendar and splays them all over your home screen. You have to update it manually, which is kind of a drag, but the dev says that iPhone API won't allow for automatic updating. Both apps are free

In the past you could only use Intelliscreen paid app on a jailbreaked iPhone.
