StarByte company released the first official trailer for Nex, a first person shooter that will be available in AppStore soon as it was just sent to Apple for approval. The graphics of this 3D FPS is truly remarkable and is full of action.

Brando has just opened its new sales of the Mini Microphone Capsule for iPhone. This is a small accessory, to be entered into the headphone jack, which allows you to record sounds 10 better than the internal microphone. As you can see in the image, the microphone is flexible and adjustable, improves the sound by 25 dB and also works on iPod Nano 4G and iPod Touch 2G. The accessory costs $14. This is a multiplayer racing game. Light Rides will allow players to challenge up to 4 players over Wi-Fi. As you ride your Light Ride it will leave an Energy Trail behind it that neither you nor your opponents can pass. You will need to out maneuver your opponents while making sure you don't end up in a wall.

This is a new iPhone application which just debuted in Japan's App Store. Called "ServersMan@iPhone", the application allows your iPhone to appear just like any other web server on the internet.

Once the app is installed, PCs on the internet can access the iPhone to upload or download files through a browser or they can use the webDAV protocol. If the PC and the iPhone are on the same network, the PC can connect directly. If they are on separate networks, then FreeBit's VPN software will engage the connection.

At the moment, the ServersMan@iPhone is only available in the Japanese App Store, but an English version is coming in March. A port for Windows Mobile devices is also under development.

This robot is made in Japan. The main part is a jailbroken iPhone 3G running some Ruby code. Other parts include an Arduino CPU, a TA7291P motor, and 4 AA batteries. The robot is controlled via WiFi from a nearby computer.

iPhone Configuration Utility lets you create configuration profiles for your devices. There are two versions of iPhone Configuration Utility—one is a Mac OS X application and the otheris a web-based version for Mac OS X or Windows. Application-based looks a bit different, has more functionality, but web-based could be used on windows platform.

After installation of Web utility open a web browser and go to: http://localhost:3000. Log in with the user name admin and the password admin. You're all set. Create profiles and distribute them by email or web.
