The RipDev announced through the official blog that they will no longer support the Installer. That means that we will have only Cydia and Icy on firmware 3.0. Say goodbye to Installer.

Let's see how these two devices will run The Sims, Metal Gear Solid Touch and upload web pages with the new Safari, which supports the HTML5:

Thanks to released iPhone 3.0 firmware:

iPhone OS 3.0 is now available. Update via iTunes (you need 8.2) or download here. Firmwares are avaliable for all devices: iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch and iPod Touch 2G. Here is a link to official Apple site about this upgrade.

Do not upgrade if you want jailbreak and/or unlock. Just wait for DevTeam to release their software.
