New Apple TV Remote Control to Feature Touchpad and Two Physical Buttons?
According to the latest report from reliable sources, the remote control for the next-generation Apple TV, which is expected to be unveilled in June at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference, will feature two physical buttons, possibly Play/Pause and Mute, and a touchpad instead of the ring-shaped button for navigation. The remote will become a bit thicker, insiders believe. It should be noted, however, that the aforementioned report is based purely on the rumours and experts’ predictions, so you should take it with a few pinches of salt.
Apple Stops Signing iOS 8.2, Downgrade Is No Longer Possible
Apple has just stopped signing iOS 8.2, which means it is no longer possible to restore or downgrade your iPhone or iPad to this version of Apple’s mobile operating system. If you have iOS 8.3 installed on your device, you can simply ignore this post, however, if you want to continue using iOS 8.2, be careful and don’t upgrade to iOS 8.3 accidentally as it would be impossible to downgrade. This suggestion is especially important for the owners of older iPhones and iPads, which may encounter some performance issues on iOS 8.3.
Apple Posts Detailed 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch Schematics for Accessory Makers
As a part of the recently-updated 'Made for Apple Watch' program, the guys from Cupertino have recently published the detailed schematics for the 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch. These schematics have been published specifically for third-party companies and Apple partners, who can use them to create bands and other accessories for the long-anticipated wearable device. As can be seen on the images below, the schematics include the precise dimensions of the smartwatch as well as of its components, such as the screen, the Digital Crown etc. More information about the Apple Watch can be found on Apple's official webpage devoted to this device.
