Tony Fadell Denies Buying Product (RED) Mac Pro and Gold EarPods

Tony Fadell, former Apple executive, says he’s not the person that purchased a Product (RED) Mac Pro and a pair of gold EarPods. Earlier this week, a few photos were posted on Twitter by Kevin Abosch, showing Fadell with both items mentioned above. These photos led to the rumors that he was the owner of one-of-a-kind Mac Pro and EarPods. And that is not true.

According to AppleInsider,

Though he was pictured holding the items, former Apple executive Tony Fadell has revealed he did not purchase a Product (RED) Mac Pro or a set of gold EarPods at a charity auction.

“To be clear, I'm not the owner of either," Fadell wrote on Twitter. "The real owner will reveal themselves if they so choose."

Product (RED) Mac Pro and a pair of gold EarPods were sold for nearly $1,5 million at a charity auction in October. The name of the person, who spent such a sum of money on two exclusive lots is still unknown.
