Last Thursday Reuters conducted an interview with the CEO of Ingram Micro Greg Spierkl, who told that previously Apple was focused more on selling the iPad to retailers, but now the situation has changed and the company is amenable to sell the tablet devices to businesses too.

At Adobe's MAX 2010 conference earlier this week, the company showed a demo of a new tool, which allows developers to convert their Flash projects to a combination of HTML5 and related non-Flash technologies.  The tool is available only for developers. It seems that Adobe is looking for a new ways to help developers offer their content in multiple formats. Especially after recent study concluded that more than half of the H.264-encoded video on the Internet is now available in HTML5 format.

Nicholas Kimball, who is a spokesperson at Transportation Security Administration, told this week CNN that recently presented 11-inch MacBook Airs are small enough that they don't need to be removed from your bag if you're going through an X-ray machine at airport security. MacBook Pro though is still big enough and needs to be researched for the internal components.

It is unknown yet whether 13-inch MacBook Air will also get such a decision, so currently it needs to be taken out at airport security. But it may also be allowed not to be removed as 13-inch model doesn't have an optical and traditional hard drive ещщ.

Recently released MacBook Airs don't have USB 3.0, and there are many rumors whether Apple will ever adopt this technology and when it will happen. But this week someone named Tom Kruk asked Steve Jobs via e-mail why no Mac with USB 3.0 is still available and received an answer. Here is it:

“We don’t see USB 3 taking off at this time. No support from Intel, for example.”

So that means we can expect USB 3.0 support as soon as Intel will adopt its platform.

VLC is a popular media player for Mac, Windows and Linux that was ported for the iPad in September and landed on the iPhone few days ago. But now there is a chance it may disappear from the App Store. According to one of the primary VLC developers Remi Denis-Courmont, Videolan (the VLC's owner) has sent a notification of copyright infringement to Apple concerning the iOS's version of the VLS that is being distributed in the App Store.

Recently "Jobs at Apple" section on the Apple's site has been updated and now includes new jobs position, more information on the carrier possibilities at Apple retail and even a video that introduces the company's retail philosophy.

"Join us at the Apple Retail Store, the unique gathering place where people come to discover Apple products. Show your passion and expertise as you connect customers with our products and help integrate products into their lives. Be a part of our team and change the way our customers work, play, create, and communicate."

In general the section now focuses on how it is incredible to work at Apple and to be part of a company that "actually change people's lives" and "connect customers with Apple products".

As you remember, recently Motorola filed a lawsuit against Apple, accusing some of the company's products in violating of patents, which are related to a range of wireless technologies, including antenna design, GPRS, 3G, 802.11 wireless. And as it was expected, Apple has now responded on that by accusing Motorola in infringing 6 patents related to multi-touch features that were first implemented in iPhone.
