Apple Releases First OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 Beta to Developers





Apple has seeded the very first beta of its OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 to registered developers for testing. At first glance, it seems as if the new version of the operating system for Mac contains nothing new apart from the usual bug fixes, stability and performance improvements. To be honest, there’s indeed nothing new.

Russian Government Asks Apple to Hand Over iOS and OS X Source Code



Russian government has recently asked Apple to give local intelligence agencies the source code of its iOS and Mac OS X. According to what the authorities say, such a step is required to make sure that the company software is not used for government surveillance. Russian Communications Minister Nikolai Nikiforov was the person who met with Peter Engrob Nielsen, Apple's general manager in Russia last week and asked about the handover of the source code.

iPhone 6 to Come on October 14th - Rumor



According to the latest reports from people familiar with the matter, the release of Apple’s next-generation iPhone will take place not in September, as it was reported earlier, but on Tuesday, October 14th. Moreover, as noted by one of the company employees, October will be a very busy month for the guys from Cupertino. This indicates that there may be some other product launches. For example, Apple may unveil the long-anticipated iWatch and updated iPad Air and iPad mini.
