Users Prefer iOS 7 Interface to iOS 6 - Poll

Polar recently conducted a poll, which shows that the users prefer the new iOS 7 interface to the iOS 6. It should be immediately noted, however, that the poll did not take into consideration the icons of both operating systems. And as you’ve probably heard, the icons design is the most widely criticized thing about the iOS 7.

Nevertheless, let’s get back to the poll - it compared various interface elements, such as the default buttons, progress indicators, Notification center, keyboard, navigation bars, alerts and more.

As to the results, 72% of users gave their preference to iOS 7, while only 28% to iOS 6.

Polar also asked the users about the new icons design and again iOS 7 turned out to be a leader. Only five icons from the iOS 6, namely, Settings, Camera, Game Center, Safari and Siri, were claimed to be better than their iOS 7 analogs.

As for me, I think that the new operating system looks more modern and fits the design of the iPhone 5 and the would-be colorful iPhone Lite perfectly.
