iPad Pro Mass Production to Start in September or October - Ming-Chi Kuo

According to the latest report from usually-reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the mass production of the long-awaited 12.9-inch iPad Pro will start in September or October. Looks like in September the guys from Cupertino will show us only the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus as well as the iPad mini 4. Just like new iPhones, Apple’s iPad Pro will support the Force Touch technology currently used in the Apple Watch and several MacBooks from the 2015 lineup.

Apple's long-rumored 12.9-inch "iPad Pro" will enter mass production sometime in September or October, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The analyst also believes that the larger-screened iPad will come with a Force Touch-enabled stylus accessory for users to more easily navigate the increased surface area of the tablet.

As it was reported yesterday, the 12.9-inch iPad will get the display resolution of 2,732×2,048 pixels. Moreover, people familiar with the matter claim this device will have iOS 9.1 on board. By the way, this once again indicates that the release of the device won’t take place in September.

Can’t wait to see the larger iPad. Even though I don’t think this device will manage to improve the overall situation with the declining tablet sales.
