Apple Releases iOS 9.2.1 Beta with Fix for Incomplete App Installation Process
Following the public release of iOS 9.2 last week, Apple has recently seeded the first iOS 9.2.1 beta to developers for testing. The next minor update reportedly contains a number of bug fixes and security enhancements.
iOS 9.2 had a build number of 13C75 and the latest beta has a build number 13D11, which indicates there are some changes inside. In particular, looks like Apple included a fix for the bug preventing some apps on iOS 9.2 from completing the installation process. The company hasn’t yet released a public beta of iOS 9.2.1, but it may do so in the nearest future.
Those who have a developer account and need iOS 9.2.1 for testing purposes can download the the latest beta of Apple’s mobile operating system right now. It is already available through Apple Developer Center.
It’s not recommended to install beta software unless you’re a developer since it may be unstable and cause problems and compatibility issues.
