Apple Seeds Fourth Beta of iOS 9.3, OS X 10.11.4, watchOS 2.2 and tvOS 9.2 to Developers
Apple has today seeded the fourth beta of iOS 9.3, OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, watchOS 2.2 and tvOS 9.2 to registered developers for testing. Each version contains minor enhancements and bug fixes aimed at making it more stable and efficient.
iOS 9.3 Beta 4 contains security enhancements and probably a fix for the ‘January 1st, 1970’ bug. It is available through Apple’s developer portal or as an OTA-update for the devices already running iOS 9.3 beta.
OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 includes several focus areas for developers, namely, iBooks, Messages, Notes and Photos. It’s recommended for development purposes only.
As to the latest betas of watchOS 2.2 and tvOS 9.2, they bring mainly fixes and minor improvements. watchOS 2.2 required a compatible iPhone with iOS 9.3 on board, whereas tvOS 9.2 will work only on the latest Apple TV released in 2015. It contains enhancements for Siri, wireless connectivity and some other tweaks.
Keep in mind it is not recommended to install pre-release software unless you’re a developer and know how to test it properly.
