Apple to Unveil iPad Pro in September Alongside New iPhones

Looks like apart from the long-awaited iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad mini 4 and the updated Apple TV, Apple will officially unveil the 12.9-inch iPad Pro on September 9th. The pre-orders may go live in October and the shipments to customers - in November. The rumors come from reliable insiders that provided correct information in the past.

It should be noted that the display size and the real name of the tablet remain unknown. Earlier this year, supply chain sources reported that the device may get a 12.9-inch display and the name ‘iPad Pro’. Since that time, the rumors have become extremely popular.

The “iPad Pro” (which is actually the planned name of the device) is currently scheduled to hit retail outlets in November, following a pre-order campaign that will launch toward the end of October, sources indicate. While whispers within Apple point to the MacBook-sized tablet making its debut on next week’s stage, it is possible that Apple could still hold back the larger iPad for an early October event given the currently planned November ship date.

The upcoming tablet with a larger screen is expected to get a new A9 processor, 2GB of RAM, USB 3.0 port and iOS 9 or iOS 9.1 on board. Apple plans to sell this device on enterprise market. As to the price of the device, it remains unknown. Obviously, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be more expensive than the smaller models.
