PolarClock is the official polar coordinates clock for the iPhone/iPod Touch. It has arcs which extend from 0 degrees to 360 degrees as the interval (i.e. hour, min, sec) extends. The arcs reset once they reach the end of the arctic interval. It's an interesting and unique way to visualize the time and the moon!

This app is avaliable via AppStore (link). The price is $0.99. There is also a free app called Arctic Clock (link), which provides similar functionality.

BrickAvoid is a new game available in Cydia, similar to Evil Touch in AppStore. The goal is to move the child, rather than take the bricks.

The new version of xGPS is finally out. Avaliable in Cydia for jailbreaked iPhones. The biggest improvement of this version, as you know, is the support for the voice instructions.

Burbank, Calif., March 2nd, 2009 – Warner Bros. Digital Distribution today announced Watchmen: Justice is Coming, an online multiplayer game for the iPhone and iPod Touch based on the upcoming film Watchmen, from Warner Bros. By using its patent-pending CloudMMO technology running on Amazon's Cloud, Last Legion were able to create a persistent world for the iPhone in the Watchmen universe. Players can roam the city streets, chat with total strangers, battle with people on the other side of the country, and ride the subway to another part of the city to continue their crusade against crime, all in real-time.

CBS has released TV.com - a new free iPhone application providing access to streaming content from the CBS family of networks.

While full episode content is currently limited to older series such as "Beverly Hills 90210", "MacGuyver", and "Star Trek: The Original Series", more limited clips are available from a variety of CBS-owned 'channels', including CBS Entertainment, The CW, Showtime, CNET TV, CBS Sports, GameSpot, CBS News, ET (Entertainment Tonight), CBS Radio, The Insider, and Chow.

The new version of xgps 1.2 will be released on 2nd of March. Here is a new video demonstration. Turn-by-turn voice commands work quite good.

This is a multiplayer racing game. Light Rides will allow players to challenge up to 4 players over Wi-Fi. As you ride your Light Ride it will leave an Energy Trail behind it that neither you nor your opponents can pass. You will need to out maneuver your opponents while making sure you don't end up in a wall.

Namco released the first video of the game Alpine Racer, that will soon be available in AppStore.

It is reported today that Cydia could be affected by a virus. The package "snes4iphone" in the repository "zottd" may contain malicious code. The package would not lead to serious damage, but executes a script that installs an advertisement in all the html pages of Cydia, including the initial one.

If any of you thisnk your Cydia is affected, simply reinstall it via this route:

“Manage” -> “Package” -> “Cydia Installer” -> “Modify” -> “Reinstall”

It's called Zen Bound and has been produced by Chilling, the same developers created iDracula, Orions: Legend of Wizards, Sneezies, iPingPong 3D, etc. The game has already won numerous awards for Excellence in 3D (IMGA Awards winner 2009) and Best iPhone Game & Audio Achievement (IGF Mobile 2009).

It's a simple relaxing game. The primary goal is to wrap a rope around wooden sculptures. You just think of fun and relaxation, not about the highest score. There are 51 levels, three game modes. The soundtrack is 22 minutes long, composed by Ghost Monkey.

Surely you remember the video that showed you a few days ago the next version of Stack. The day after the developer anounced that he would stop developing free applications. Now he changed his mind. So the work on version 2.2 of Stack is continuing and this application will appear in Cydia soon. One more important thing is that once application is released, it will probably remain available forever.
