Ngmoco, the creator of Rolando, anounced a new game, tht will be released soon in AppStore. It is called TouchPets Dogs. Players will take care of a virtual dog. Watch the video.

Tap Tap Revenge developers anounced new version of this popular application:

"The wait’s almost over! The code’s been written, the music’s been added, and our thumbs are numb from all the ‘testing’. Tap Tap Revenge 2 is signed, sealed… and soon to be delivered. Sometime next week if all goes well."

During Mobile World Congress 2009 Google demoed a version of GMail that will still work even when Airplane mode is on. Airplane mode effectively takes the iPhone offline, but by using local storage capabilities found in HTML5, users would still be able to browse and manipulate their mail. A video shows it in action:

Earth3D+ released today. Compared to Earth3D it had more planets, enhanced graphics, more information, etc. There are now all the nine planets of our solar system.

Marvel Comics will be bringing it’s first “motion comic” to Apple’s iTunes store, thus expanding on the portable comic reading abilities of the iPhone and iPod Touch. A video played showing that Joss Whedon and John Cassaday’s “Astonishing X-Men” #1-10 will be adapted into Motion Comics. (See trailer below)

“It’s not quite comics, it’s not quite animation,” Marvel’s Joe Quesada of the hybrid nature of the project.

This is a fart humor, that I personally do not like. TUAW created a video, where they lanch 31 fart applications in 90 seconds.

xGPS uses Google's map data and driving directions, adding a real-time navigation readout and a voice engine. You can also select a map area to download ahead of time, just in case you expect to lose your data connection during the drive. There is also a night mode for those who hate bright white screen shining at night.

xGPS without vocalization in already available in Cydia for jailbreaked iPhones. The new version 1.2 will be ready in a week or so.

This app probably violated the iPhone developer's terms of service agreement, which states apps may not ridicule public figures. This fact is questionable. Anyway, you can watch the video of what it is:

Google has released Sync support to instantly coordinate your Google Calendar and Contacts. Avaliable in Beta for iPhone (link), but works already. Do not forget to backup everythong before using

Reminder: Google Sync uses the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol, all existing Contacts and Calendar events will be removed from your phone.

You draw shapes with a crayon that come to life on your iPhone / iPod Touch. You use these shapes to interact with the wheel, causing it to move according to physical laws. When it reaches the star, the level is complete.
