Apple Issues Invitations for Media Event on September 12
The Loop reports that Apple on Tuesday sent out invitations for an upcoming media event scheduled for next week Wednesday, September 12. The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco and begins at 10:00 AM Pacific / 1:00 PM Eastern. The tagline on the invitation is simply "It's almost here."
Apple's OS X passes Windows Vista in worldwide usage

The latest monthly data of desktop operating shares from Net Applications shows that total Web usage of Apple's OS X operating system has exceeded Microsoft's Windows Vista. Microsoft's Windows Vista fell in August to 6.15 percent of tracked Web usage. Meanwhile, Apple's latest operating system, OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, grew to 1.34 percent.
Hackers Released 1 Million UDIDs From IOS Devices
Today hacker group around 1 million UDIDs (unique identifiers) from iOS devices. Reportedly the records came from a file stolen by hackers from an FBI laptop in March. The file was said to contain a list of 12 million iOS devices including user names, cellphone numbers, zip codes, addresses, type of device, UDIDs, name of device, Apple Push Notification Service tokens, etc, but the whole list was incompleted as most personal details fields were empty.
'iPhone 5' appears to adopt internal design elements from iPhone 3GS
According to a report by RepairLabs, Apple's sixth generation iPhone components appear to be reverting back to some design elements of the iPhone 3GS. New photos of the iPhone 5 depict the metal brackets that "suggest that it will be sitting into a housing, similar to a 3GS, but more updated and modern."
