Boxee’s iPad App Allows Streaming Video From Mac To iPad

Boxee has launched a free application for iPad that enables users to stream virtually any video format from your Mac to your iPad. Apart streaming functions, this application can be very helpful in finding popular video or video shared by your friends to watch it online. Sharing is performed using Friends tab that is a queue of all content sharing by your friends through Boxee’s social service. Also there is a Popular tab that shows what currently is the most popular content on the globe.

Besides these useful social features, the app also offers Watch Later bookmark that can be used to bookmark videos on the Internet. This function applies an Instapaper approach and forms a queue of the videos on your iPad that you can view later. The app also allows you to send video from your iPad to your TV via Boxee Box, and enjoy watching it on the big screen.
