Samsung Offered Apple Deal That Allows For Galaxy Tab Launch In Australia

Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-10.1

As Wall Street Journal reports, Samsung has offered Apple a deal, which would allow Samsung to put its Galaxy Tab 10.1 on the Australian market. If the agreement will be accepted the Samsung tablet could be released in October. The terms of the agreement were not revealed to the court. But Stephen Burley, Apple's attorney, said that this agreement had some potential benefit for the company.

Judge Annabelle Bennett said that if Apple accept the proposed deal, Samsung wouldn’t get the satisfaction of a final decision to the case, but Mr. Catterns state it would at least sell its new tablets prior to the Christmas sales period.

Samsung and Apple are tied in many legal disputes in different countries, and in some of them Apple had success in banning Samsung tablets from selling. Also it was reported yesterday that Samsung is ready to offer Apple some concessions such as removal of the function that recognizes accidental touch on a display.
