A Woman Tried to Commit A Suicide Because of Lost iPhone
Chinese newspaper Oriental Daily has recently reported about a woman who tried to commit a suicide because... of an iPhone.
Mrs. Wong, who lives in Hong Kong, recently bought an iPhone 4. She was so happy about her purchase that when she accidentally lost it, she immediately called her husband and asked him to buy another one. But the truth is she has two kids to think about and Mr. Wong is just a bus driver, so two iPhones in one week for such a family appeared to be expenses they couldn't afford.
So Mr. Wong said her he cannot buy another iPhone, and his wife just went crazy about it. Mrs. Wong left home and went to the 14th floor of the building just to try to jump from there. Luckily, her husband had noticed that she acted too weird and called a police. After that he went up to the 14th floor and stopped her.
While the story is interesting by itself, we wonder did she knew about Find My iPhone function so she could try to find her lost handset?
How could they use Find My iPhone service, if they can't afford it??

As far as I know, Find My iPhone service is free for those who has the iPhone 4 with iOS 4.2.
The other question is whether she enabled it earlier in the settings of her iPhone or not.
