Apple and News Corp Are Rumored To Work Together On iPad Newspaper
These days high-end fashion journal for women Women's Wear Daily revealed that Apple CEO Steve Jobs and News Corp CEO Rupert Murdoch have been working closely on some project, which is called the Daily. It is said that there is a possibility Murdoch and Jobs together will soon appear onstage to unveil their new product.
The Guardian in the United Kingdom also posted info on that and specified that this is the tablet-only project, which will be allegedly developed with the help of Apple engineers and won't have a web edition or print edition.
Nevertheless, it is reported that NewsCorp's The Daily will not necessary be exclusive for iPad, and the support for other tablet devices is being developed too. Earlier Murdoch expressed his opinion that iPad is "a game changer", as it became the most popular option to get information and news for most of the families.
One hundred journalists have been already hired to work on the 26th floor of the News Corp offices situated in New York.
Earlier a News Corp executive confirmed the rumors that his company works on an iPad specific publication that will be launched in the coming months in the U.S. Apple is also rumored to work on another separate iOS app that will work like an iBooks but instead of books it will make magazines and newspapers available for purchase and download.
