Apple Launched iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program





Apple will soon launch an iPhone 5 battery replacement program. The guys from Cupertino have reportedly found out that some of the handsets manufactured and sold between September 2012 and January 2013 may encounter problems that affect the battery life.

Apple has determined that a very small percentage of iPhone 5 devices may suddenly experience shorter battery life or need to be charged more frequently. The affected iPhone 5 devices were sold between September 2012 and January 2013 and fall within a limited serial number range.

On August 22nd, 2014, the 'iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program' was launched in the USA and China and beginning from August 29th, 2014 it will be expanded to a number of other countries all over the world.
