Apple Posts List of Annual iTunes Store Award Winners

Apple has today posted the list of the annual iTunes Store Award winners. This is something like a ranking showing the best music, movies, TV shows, apps, books and podcasts of the year.

Take a look at the 'Best of 2013' list:

App of the Year:

• Winner: Duolingo
• Runner-Up: VSCO Cam
• Runner-Up: Endless Alphabet

Game of the Year:

• Winner: Ridiculous Fishing
• Runner-Up: DEVICE 6
• Runner-Up: Plants vs. Zombies 2

Top Paid Apps:

• Minecraft
• Heads Up!
• Temple Run: Oz

For music Apple selected the following:

• Artist of the Year: Justin Timberlake
• Album of the Year: The Heist (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis)
• Song of the Year: Royals (Lorde)
• Breakthrough Artists: Kendrick Lamar
