Apple Releases iTunes 11.3.1 With Fixes for Podcasts

Apple has recently released a new iTunes 11.3.1 version that contains a fix for the bug that was preventing the podcasts section from working properly. If you encountered problems with iTunes on your Mac after the update, I suggest that you read this article up to the very end.

Here’s what the guys from Cupertino write about the new version of iTunes:

iTunes 11.3.1 addresses a problem where subscribed podcasts may stop updating with new episodes and resolves an issue where iTunes may become unresponsive while browsing your podcasts episodes in a list.

If you have any problems with your subscribed podcasts or podcasts browsing, you need to update to the latest iTunes version (11.3.1). To do this, go to the Software Update section and follow the instructions. If iTunes is working as it should, simply ignore the notification about the new version of the program as you don’t need it. It contains no new features, only a fix for the issue, which was mentioned above.
