Apple to Announce Apple Pay for Web at WWDC
According to the latest report from Digital Trends, Apple will bring Apple Pay to the Web this Monday. As noted by the reporters, the company plans to announce the support of its mobile payments system on the websites of its several partner resellers during the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote. If rumors turn out to be true, PayPal and similar services will get a serious rival to compete with.
Watch out, PayPal: You have competition. Apple Pay will expand to the web on Monday, bringing its brand of mobile payments to select retail partners’ websites at WWDC 2016, Digital Trends has learned.
Apart from Apple Pay for the Web, during WWDC, Apple is expected to announce iOS 10, OS X 10.12 and new versions of watchOS and tvOS.
