Apple to Hold 'Enormous' iPhone Upgrade Event Soon

Apple is expected to hold an "enormous" iPhone upgrade event in its retail stores. On May 8th, the guys from Cupertino will start sending emails to those users who have an older iPhone. They will be offered a discount on newer handset - iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c - if they decide to give their old one back to Apple.

It should be noted that the upgrade event is only confirmed for the U.S. customers. There's no information as to when it will be available outside the USA.

Apple is planning to hold an “enormous” iPhone-related event in its stores this week in order to boost sales, according to a source with knowledge of the initiative. Beginning May 8th, the source said, Apple will be contacting upgrade-eligible iPhone users with older iPhone models via email to come into their local Apple Store to update to a new iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c.

So, if you live in the USA, beginning from May 8th you will get the opportunity to change your old iPhone to a newer one with a discount.
