iTunes and App Store Are Down for Some Users

A number of Reddit and Twitter users are currently complaining about iTunes and the App Store outage. Both services are down for some people, even though Apple’s System Status page shows that all services work just fine. It looks like the issue is not related to any specific country or region, since the customers from the United States, Europe and Asia claim they have difficulties with accessing either iTunes, or the App Store both on their computers and portable devices.

The problem has been spotted by the 9to5Mac reporters:

Some users on Reddit and Twitter are reporting that iTunes and the App Store are down. Other are able to access normally, suggesting that the issue is either small-scale or intermittent. Apple’s status page is not yet showing an issue, though it is common for Apple to be very slow to update the page.

Apple hasn’t yet commented on the problem and hasn’t updated the aforementioned System Status page. Hopefully, the company engineers are currently working on a fix. Soon they may let us know about the results of their work, so let’s wait.
