Leaked Photo of iPhone 7 Chassis Surfaces Online

An image showing something what appears to be chassis for the upcoming full-size iPhone 7 has been recently shared by Nowhereelse. If legitimate, the photo proves that Apple has finally got rid of the antenna breaks across the iPhone back panel and moved them to the upper and lower parts of the handset to make its design more sleek and refined. Apart from that, the camera cutout shown in the photo seems to be larger than the one of the iPhone 6 and 6s, hinting at the possible use of a bigger photo sensor.

Previous reports and leaks suggest that Apple plans to ditch the headphone jack in the iPhone 7 in favour of using the Bluetooth or Lightning-compatible earbuds. Unfortunately, today’s image doesn’t provide us with any additional details concerning this issue.

Apple hasn’t yet commented on the rumors about the iPhone 7. However, the company has already begun sending out the invitations for its March 21st event dedicated to the widely-rumored 4-inch iPhone SE, 9.7-inch iPad Pro and the updated Apple Watch.
