New 4K Video Showing Campus 2 Construction Site Appeared Online
A new drone video showing the construction site of Apple’s new “spaceship” Campus 2 has recently appeared online. This short 4K clip has been shot by the same guy, who made the previous one back in January. The nickname of this guy is myithz, you can check his YouTube channel and watch other flyover videos that show the building process at Apple’s new headquarters.
As you can see in the video, the construction workers have nearly finished digging and focused on the actual construction of walls of the main circular building. Moreover, the clip shows that the work on several surrounding buildings and the garage still goes on.
According to the General Project Schedule shared by Apple last year, the earthwork will finish in the second quarter of this year. As to the erection of walls, it will end only in 2016.
The guys from Cupertino plan to finish the work on their new Campus 2 by the end of the next year. Well, if to take into account the speed of the construction, looks like the project will be completed right in time.
Apple’s Campus 2 is expected to house about 12.000 employees and feature an enormous car parking, hall for presentations and its own fitness facility.
