Only 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Will Feature Dual Camera - Analyst

According to the latest report from usually-reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the widely-rumored dual camera will be included only in the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus model to differentiate the device from its smaller sibling.

Earlier reports suggested that Apple was planning to equip the next-generation iPhones with improved photo sensors developed by the experts of LinX Technology, a firm Apple acquired in 2015. Still, it was unclear whether both flagship devices will get better cameras or only the one with 5.5-inch screen. Since Kuo is a respected expert, we can assume the company will add the dual camera only to the larger handset.

Dual cameras will be exclusive to Apple's next-generation 5.5-inch iPhone, according to a new research note issued by respected KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Apple is expected to release new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (or iPhone 7 Pro) in September. Stay tuned for more rumors about these devices.
