Cydia has been updated to version 1.0.2797-45. However some users report crash immediately after the refresh the sources. The potential app that Cydia has conflict with is Rock Your Phone.

A new version of Apple's Camera app shows you the last photo you snapped in the lower left-hand corner of the application. Meanwhile, the new Photo album app allows you to copy, delete, or share multiple photos via email.

Grab Sudoku is a beautiful application in AppStore (link) for a price of $0.99. With this app you can play and solve sudoku. It allows users to take photos of sudoku grids from newspapers and can automatically convert them to electronic format, offering the opportunity to play on our iPhone.

The characteristics of this application does not end there. You can also hit a "solve" button and get the answer. You can also take pictures of different sudoku, save them and play whenever you want.

DHowett is the developer who is working on a new Tweak called "Removal". This is an extension of MobileSubstrate that will allow the easy removal of Cydia applications through "Wiggling Icons" and the (X), just like the App Store applications. Removal will also remove applications installed manually in the directory "/ Applications /".

Wallpaper Labeler (AppStore link) and gCalWall Lite (AppStore link) let you add appointments and notes to the home screen. With Wallpaper Labeler, you can enter any text you want to your wallpaper, so you can leave yourself (or whoever finds your phone) notes. The other app, gCalWall, pulls down upcoming appointments from your default Google Calendar and splays them all over your home screen. You have to update it manually, which is kind of a drag, but the dev says that iPhone API won't allow for automatic updating. Both apps are free

In the past you could only use Intelliscreen paid app on a jailbreaked iPhone.

Sygic is an offline navigator for iPhone and should be approved soon in the AppStore. The maps are from TeleAtlas, the navigator provides voice guide, search for POI etc. This is the first video of Sygic Mobile 2009. The application is presented at CeBIT. Rumors say it will cost around $100...

iSpazio published several screenshots of an app called SpinBoard. SpinBoard will be available in three different versions, and they've got the third one, rotating icons only 90, 180 and 270 degrees, just as the video shows.

It is not without bugs, however it works nice on the iPhone and very very poorly on iPod Touch.

Saurik annound today the new Cydia Store at the 360|iDev Event. Here is an email from him:

"The cydia store was officially announced today: should be out Friday and will have one simple package available, followed by more over the next few weeks."

This Store will provide an easier way to download paid apps already avaiable in Cydia at this moment (iPhone video recorder, SwirlyMMS, QuickSMS, iRealSMS etc).

The new version of xGPS is finally out. Avaliable in Cydia for jailbreaked iPhones. The biggest improvement of this version, as you know, is the support for the voice instructions.

The new version of xgps 1.2 will be released on 2nd of March. Here is a new video demonstration. Turn-by-turn voice commands work quite good.

Surely you remember the video that showed you a few days ago the next version of Stack. The day after the developer anounced that he would stop developing free applications. Now he changed his mind. So the work on version 2.2 of Stack is continuing and this application will appear in Cydia soon. One more important thing is that once application is released, it will probably remain available forever.

Here is the video that shows a preview of future AppStore application called Spotify. It will allow users to listen to streaming music from the iPhone. Currently it is in the waiting for approval status.

Remember Stack version 2.2 video posted recently? There will be no 2.2. version and current version (2.1) will be removed from the repository quite soon. Why? The developer is angry at hackers, who cracked his apps avaliable in AppStore:

“I have to work extra hard as it is on creating things for the App Store, but when people like paniK go ahead and make my software available to pirates and I watch sales vanish overnight, it means I have to spend much more time on marketing and development for my App Store apps to try and offset my losses, leaving no time for projects like Stack that earn me nothing.”
