Apple Store app gift cards are now available and have a geographical coverage.





On Saturday, Apple started offering digital gift cards that can be purchased via the Apple app Store, and online store. These cards will be available for sending them to friends and family using Passbook. The company first announced that the electronic gift cards will be available when the Apple Store application was updated this week, however, digital coupons were not available for purchase until Saturday.

Customers want to be able to go to a recommended gift cards with a banner at the bottom of the main page of the Apple store. From here users can choose digital certificates for wholesale and retail Apple stores which can be delivered to the spesified address or e-mail. iTunes cards are also available, but they can only be delivered through the mail. 

After delivering, the recipient can either print out a card to use it in the store, or it is possble to use it for purchases in the online store, or download as a QR code. This code can be generated via the Apple servers. Apple allows Passbook to mark the generated code to use the geographic coverage that is built into iOS. The system notifies the user about opening Passbook on the iPhone or iPad, while near the Apple Store. Digital gift cards can be purchased through the Online Apple Store with delivery by mail and e-mail.
