Skype Finally Gets iOS 9 Support

The Skype app both for iPhone and iPad has been recently updated with the support of iOS 9 and a number of other minor improvements. These improvements include the ability to start a chat right from the Spotlight search menu and such new features as Quick Reply, Split View and Slider Over for iPad.

The list of new features brought with the latest update is available below:

  • Full compatibility with iOS 9
  • Ability to reply to messages right from Notifications, without opening the application
  • Ability to use Skype in Split Screen mode (for iPad)
