Tim Cook Says iPad is Successful Project

As you probably know, iPad sales have dropped in the past several months. This information was shared by the guys from Cupertino in July, as they announced their financial results in the third quarter of 2014. Despite noticeable decrease in sales, Apple CEO Tim Cook still believes that iPad is a successful project.

In the third quarter, Apple sold 13.3 million iPads. This number is lower than in the year-ago quarter. In case you don't remember, in the Q3 of 2013 Apple sold 14.1 million iPads.

“We couldn’t be happier with how we’ve done with the first four years of the iPad,” and added that, “I’d call what’s going on recently a speed bump, and I’ve seen that in every category.”

According to the latest rumors, the guys from Cupertino are currently working on a larger iPad model with 12.9-inch display called probably iPad Pro.
