Apple Releases OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 7 to Developers
Apple on Tuesday seeded OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 7 to developers for testing. The release comes two weeks after the release of the sixth Yosemite beta, which contained a wide number of important bug fixes, improvements and design tweaks.
The latest Developer Preview has a build number 14A343f and can boast of several noticeable enhancements, which include new icons for such apps as Dashboard, Migration Assistant, Disk Utility, Keychain Access and ColorSync Utility, several tweaks for System Preferences menu and the updated Software Update option, which was removed from the main Apple menu.
Those who have a developer account can download the latest OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 7 either from Apple's developer portal or via Software Update menu. I suggest that you should not install this version of OS X on your main computer as it is currently quite unstable.
The guys from Cupertino are expected to release OS X Yosemite to public this fall. Let's wait.
