Apple MacBook hits the ratings in Consumer Reports
Any user regardless of his profession will be able to choose a notebook to his taste from the Apple notebook family. The entry-level MacBook will be a perfect choice for casual users; MacBook Air will fit someone who travels a lot; MacBook Pro will definitely satisfy everyone’s needs. This statement was supported by the ranking in Consumer Reports special computer issue.
In a laptop competition the 11-inch MacBook Air scored 62 points out of 100 possible. The Gateway’s notebook managed to pick only 56 points and got the second place, and the third place was occupied by HP’s with its 49 points.
In the rivalry of 13-inch models, Apple has got even more success with MacBook Pro picking 76 points and leaving Sony and Asus behind: they got only the last 2 spots out of 7.
In the section of 15-inch notebooks the MacBook Pro managed to take the top three spots but its rivals did their best to make a three-point gap. The two 17-inch models are considered to be front-runners as they picked 80 and 81 points taking the top two spots.
