Apple Releases New iPod touch with A8 Processor Inside, Refreshed iPod shuffle and iPod nano
Just as we expected, Apple on Wednesday released a brand new iPod touch and refreshed the entire lineup of iPods with new colors. The updated iPod touch can boast of the 64-bit A8 processor and M8 motion coprocessor, 4-inch display, 8-megapixel camera. As to the memory capacity, it is equal to 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB. The price depends on the capacity of the gadget and starts from $199 for the lower-end 16GB portable player and ends with $399 for the 128GB model.
If to speak about other tech specs, the iPod has 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 and comes with iOS 8.4 on board. Like other devices running iOS 8.4, this one supports Apple Music and Beats 1 radio. New colors of the iPod touch, iPod shuffle and iPod nano include silver, blue, pink, space gray, red and gold.
Apple today introduced the sixth-generation iPod touch with a 4-inch display, 64-bit A8 chip and M8 motion coprocessor, 8-megapixel rear-facing iSight camera and new colors: blue, pink, silver, space gray, gold and red.
It is strange that Apple decided to release new iPods as the portable media players market is currently experiencing a decline.
