The upcoming iPhone is expected to be taller and thinner than the current iPhone. However, the increased height of the next iPhone is more than offset by the decrease in thickness which results in a reduced internal volume as compared to the iPhone 4S. If this leak is to be believed, battery capacity on the next iPhone will not significantly increase.
