iPhone 4S Sales Over Debut Weekend Topped 4 Million

Today senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing in Apple Philip Schiller said that iPhone 4S sales topped 4 million units during opening weekend surpassing the 1.7 million units sold during last year’s debut weekend. Also he said:

“iPhone 4S is a hit with customers around the world, and together with iOS 5 and iCloud, is the best iPhone ever”.

In addition, Apple announced that 25 million user downloaded iOS 5 and more than 20 million users created accounts on iCloud.

The iPhone 4S was released in France, UK, Germany, Australia, United States and Canada on Friday and it is expected to go on sale in additional 22 countries on Tuesday, October 28th.
