App Store Appears in Windows 8

Yesterday Microsoft that it is going to integrate its own app store into Windows 8. A post on the Building Windows 8 blog reveals that Steven Sinofsky presents App Store as one of the teams for the future OS.
In its blog Microsoft lists a lot of the teams which are responsible for different areas. Recently these teams were organized into 7 larger groups which unite the teams. They are fundamentals, devices and networking, core OS, developers experience, user experience, web services and engineering system. The similar structure was used for the Windows Live group creation which consists of Hotmail, Messenger, Skydrive, Photos, LiveID and others. Internet Explorer group also includes a couple of teams which will be used more for Windows 8. The lists begins like this:
- App Compatibility and Device Compatibility
- App Store
- Applications and Media Experience
- ...and others.
By now the future store name is unknown as Microsoft objects Apple’s effort to use the term ‘App Store’ as a trademark.
